Itinerary
DAY I | MEDAN - PARAPAT - SAMOSIR
The trip starts from KNO Airport / your hotel - depending on your request. We'll go to Parapat and will stop in Siantar to have our lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, the trip continues to Parapat and upon arrival, we will cross the lake by a ferry towards Ambarita to visit Siallagan Village. In Siallagan Village, we'll have a tour around and listen to its historical explanation about the Chair Stone presented by a local guide. You'll be also invited to dance Bataknese traditional dance called Tor-Tor along with some locals and other visitors. After completing our activities in the village, we'll go to Tuk-Tuk to check-in to the hotel and have a leisure time until dinner's ready at he hotel restaurant. After dinner, you can spend the rest of the night as you please.
DAY II | SAMOSIR - BERASTAGI
After breakfast at the hotel restaurant, we proceed our trip and Simanindo will be our first destination on this second day of our trip. In Simanindo, we'll visit Hutabolon Museum and watch a presentation about culture and tradition of Batak people presented by the local villagers. After the presentation, you'll have a chance to join the villagers and other visitors to dance Tor-Tor and enjoy Bataknese traditional food called Naniarsik. After the museum, next we will visit Batu Hoda beach which is one of the best spots in Samosir that many people doesn't know its existence yet. You'll be amazed by its nice view with its unique rocks and clean water. From Simanindo, the trip continues to Tomok Village to visit the tombstone of the village's first king called King Sidabutar. We'll have a presentation about the village and the tombstone from a local guide. Afterwards, we continue to the next attraction called Sigale-gale dancing statue. A local guide will deliver a presentation about its history and legend. At the end of the tour, you'll be invited to dance Tor-Tor along with the locals other visitors. In Tomok and Ambarita you'll see a lot of souvenir shops along the way from the entrance to the exit. After our tour activities in each village, you can have a look around and take your time to buy some souvenirs if you are interested. After completing our trip in Samosir, next we'll get ready to leave the island and cross the lake by a ferry to head back to Parapat. From Parapat, we'll directly go to Berastagi to check-in for the night at the hotel. You can enjoy the rest of the day in Berastagi as you please until dinner and you may continue spending your free time afterwards.
DAY III | BERASTAGI - MEDAN
After breakfast at the hotel, we'll spend the last day of our trip visiting some interesting tourist objects in Berastagi. First, we'll visit Berastagi Flowers and Fruits Market. In here, you can buy various types of fresh fruits and flowers. In this market, its is possible to bargain the price. From Fruits Market, we'll continue the trip to Sipiso-piso Waterfall which is the highest waterfall in Sumatera. You can enjoy the amazing view of the waterfall and breathe the fresh air. There after, we'll continue the trip to Medan and have our lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we'll take you back to your hotel or drop you off at the airport.
